State of the Art Facilities

Rush has recently undergone a major transformation. The new orthopedic building is complete. The new orthopedic center is a 220,000-square-foot building, and is the largest orthopedic medical office building in Illinois.

The Orthopedic Building houses:

  • Outpatient clinic space
  • Offices for orthopedic staff
  • A clinical research center
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Gait laboratory
  • Orthopedic resident facilities
  • Orthopedic Biomechanics Lab
  • Implant Recovery Lab
  • Hard Tissue Histology Lab

The construction of Rush University Medical Center's new 14-story hospital was completed in January, 2012. The new hospital serves as the focal point of inpatient orthopedic care at Rush. Please see www.transforming.rush.edu for additional information
